When I opened Entourage this morning, there were 118 Main Identity windows. it is very strange, because I did not do this. Each window has a black background border behind it. I have closed all these windows several times, but the application keeps crashing and, when I relaunch it, the same 118 main identity windows are there.

Delete this preference file, manually close each window then rebuild the
database.

~Library/Preferences/Microsoft/Entourage Preferences

Entourage 2008 now allows users to Option-click on the red close button to
close multiple windows.

Me again. I forgot to mention that it crashes every time I try to change the color of the text.

> When I opened Entourage this morning, there were 118 Main Identity windows. it is very strange, because I did not do this. Sorry, I do not know what you mean by "Delete this preference file.

Well, I seem to have fixed it . . . do not ask me how.

Well, I seem to have fixed it . . . do not ask me how. All I did was open the database utility to verify the database. It said it was operating correctly. When I reopened Entourage, no more multiple windows. Yay.
