I am having a very weird problem with printing a calendar in Entourage. I
go file > print and the normal print dialog appears, e.g.
http://img203.imageshack.us/i/screenshot20100201at915.png/
Then I enter in the desired date range, e.g.
http://img203.imageshack.us/i/screenshot20100201at916.png/
Then I click on print, or preview, or save as PDF, all with the same result.
Entourage tells me that the date field is empty, e.g.
http://img197.imageshack.us/i/screenshot20100201at916.png/
It is clear from the image that the date field is not empty. I have tried
using the date pickers and just typing in the date both with the same
result. Then Entourage, having reverted back to the last known valid date,
shows the date in the date field in a different format (x/xx/xx), e.g.
http://img710.imageshack.us/i/screenshot20100201at917.png/
Evidently, Entourage doesn?t know how to interpret this format, because the
date it shows thereafter is typically 1931 or 2031, e.g.
http://img46.imageshack.us/i/screenshot20100201at917.png/
I obviously don?t want to print my calendar out to 2031, so I?m stuck. I?ve
tried entering the dates manually for both the start and end date fields,
changing from daily, weekly, and monthly calendars, rebooting my system,
updating my system and Entourage, all to no avail. I typically end up with
Entourage trying to print a 28,500 page calendar from 1931-present.
So, I was wondering if anyone else has come across this problem and knows
any solutions (or workarounds), or even if it?s a known bug waiting for a
fix (I doubt the latter as I have spent an obscene amount of time Googling
the problem and have not come across it.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
