Office Home & Student 2007 - Phone Activation

Asked By David Dyke
21-Nov-09 01:46 PM
I have Office H &S 2007 installed on 2 of 3 computers. I am allowed 3, I
know.

I am going to buy/purchase a new computer and do not wish to use the last
activation. I wish to activate by phone after loading the program.

(Also, I may buy/purchase another computer in the future and this would
mandate an activation by phone.)

Can/will someone tell me there is 'no-problem' and how to do this? Like, how
do I contact Microsoft?

Thanks.

activation. I wish to activate by phone after loading the program."

Since apparently this will be the third PC, unless scrapping one of the
other two, whats the purpose of the above?

If online activation fails you are directed to phone activation relevent to
your location

DL:You're absolutely right.

DL:

You're absolutely right. But I wish to not use the last activation (the one
that is left) for this new machine. But...

All my machines are using XP and (in order) I want to change them all to
Windows 7. (They 2-3 years old and I am using Windows 7 as an excuse to
upgrade them. They are 2 Desktops and a Laptop.)

That means in the near future I will have to reload and 'phone-activate'
Wimdows Home & Student 2007. I just want to be prepared and know how to do
it. What is the procedure? Please.

Well you will have to if you want to use the application.

You are labouring under a common misapprehension. You can install and
re-install as many times as you like as long as you do not exceed three
concurrent instances of Office Home and Student..
