Office - missing Ribbon add-in tab in all office 2010 programs

Asked By CaptainKen on 26-Feb-11 12:50 PM
The add-in tab does not appear in any of the office 2010 programs.
it is not on the Ribbonbar or listed in the Options\Add-ins section. I
can duplicate this on multiple PC's with nothing other then Office Pro
2010 62-bit, all office and Windows 7 updates installed.

It should appear when you load (add) an add-in.

Thanks for replying. Is there some way to test it by adding a feature
to the Add-in tab?

Maybe you have not drilled down far enough in the ribbon/menu maze.

Excel Options...
| Add-ins (on the left side)
| Manage (at the bottom - choose 'Excel Add-ins' from the drop down list )
| Go (button)
| Add-ins (checkmark something in the displayed list)
| OK (button)
