Hi,

It is posible to save and open documents in the ODF-format if I use Office
2003, if yes, why can I download a plugin?

Thanks for the answer.

ODF?

What is that?

Open Document format, a open standard Open Office etc. can open and save.

If you have Office 2010, you can also open and save in ODF-format.

I do not understand why you need to save in ODF because OpenOffice can open
DOC.

OpenOffice might be a supported MSoft file format today, but it was not a
supported format when Office'03 came out. There is no saving to ODF that I
know of, and I do not see why you need to do it because DOC is a supported
OpenOffice format.

I get that you can save to ODF now, but I am not clear on why you would need
to. You might WANT to, but do you NEED to?
