Office - Office 2003 activation by phone

Asked By Alan Justice on 21-Jul-12 07:28 PM
I just bought a new computer and used the Office Pro 2003 disks (that came
with the computer I am replacing) to load Office on to it. Apparently I
need to activate it again. (I can use it for now, but I think that may be
only temporary.) That comuter is not online, nor will it be, to protect it.
I spent 20 minutes searching the MS sight for a phone number to call to
activate, but was unable to find one.

Anyone know the number, or how to find it?

With activation, you need to select "Activate by phone" method and it
gives you the phone number of your nearest Microsoft office.

To start the Product Activation Wizard:

Click Start
.
Click All Programs, and then click Microsoft Office.
Select any Office program such as Microsoft Word.
When the Office programs starts, the Product Activation Wizard will
be displayed.

In the Product Activation Wizard, follow these steps:

Click I want to activate the software by telephone, and then click
Next.
Click the drop-down menu, and then select the country or region you
are from.
The Microsoft Product Activation Center phone number is displayed
under Step 1.

Good luck.

You can activate as many machines as you want, but only one at a time. You
load and activate. The machine takes a dump, so you replace it. You load and
activate, and repeat as necessary.

You will need to activate else many of the features and functions will go
cold.
