Office - Grammar in background

Asked By Tony Vella on 25-Jul-11 10:45 AM
Can anyone help me, please?
How can I stop my OneNote 2010 showing me grammar, etc, in the background
about every word I happen to hover with the mouse? it is starting to get
seriously annoying.
Thanks in advance.

I do not seem to have that problem & I know I have made notes that are "grammar
deficient" just in the way I write.

Check every possible setting in the options & proofing & so on, maybe you will
stumble across something that fixes it.

Sorry you are having a problem, just did not want you to feel quite so alone
crying in the wilderness.

Thanks BJ. I have just discovered it is the Bilingual Dictionary and I do not
know how to turn it off. The even-more-annoying thing is that I am writing
a biography of an Austrian opera-tenor and the bilingual dictionary is
looking for every German word in my text in a French-English dictionary and,
of course, not finding it. Darn, someone help me turn it off. I have a
roomful of dictionaries, I do not need this nutcase.

Thanks again.

Advised off-line.
Under 'review' select 'translate' and then 'mini translator' and unselect.
Hope this helps.
